Where do you live? At the moment I live in the apartment at Buenaventura together with Francesco, Anna and Sebastian.
Student/working? Where? With what? Right now I am an EVS-volunteer at Buenaventura (February-August 2005). Last year I finished my studies, I've got a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature and I've also done some postgraduate studies in Cultural Administration. After my experience at Buenaventura I will try to cut my hair and get a real job.
What do you do at Buenaventura? I work with the coordination of the 59th TEH-meeting at Buenaventura together with all the other volunteers. Apart from this me and Anna Peterfì share the tasks that are described in the Buenaventura EVS-project (running the internet-point, registrating new membership-cards when there are concerts etc.)
When did you first get in contact with the Buenaventura and how? I met Francesco, Mauro and Marco at the 57th TEH-meeting hosted by Mejeriet, Lund, Sweden in May 2004. I was doing a work placement at Mejeriet as part of my studies. As a joke I offered to come here and work for the TEH-meeting at Buenaventura, and in the end we realised that me coming as an EVS-volunteer could be a solution. I'm very happy that it was possible for me to come here!
A few lines about your relationship to Buenaventura, what do you like/dislike? I love the people and all the new friends I have made in Buenaventura, there's really a huge difference between the reserved Swedes and the expressive Italians. I'm very impressed of how much time and positive energy the volunteers put in to the Buenaventura, it's amazing to see how they all care and nurture their Buenaventura-baby. It's a big challenge for me to live where you work and sometimes the isolation of this place gives me choking Big Brother-TV-soap-opera-feelings that are a bit alarming. However, whenever leaving the Buenaventura to go out somewhere else or to another city you always reach a point where you miss the special Buenaventura atmosphere and want to go back.
