The University of Warwick Graduate School is awarding in excess of 30 doctoral scholarships across all disciplines through the Warwick Postgraduate Research Scholarship (WPRS) scheme for entry in 2009/10. These awards will cover tuition fees at the Home/EU rate and provide a maintenance grant at Research Council rates for the 3 years of a PhD programme at the University of Warwick.

The University of Warwick has also applied to Arts and Humanities Research Council to receive a number of Postgraduate Taught and Doctoral awards in the following subjects: Classics and Ancient History, Creative Writing, Cultural Studies, Dance, Drama and Performing Arts, English Language and Literature, Film Studies and Television Studies, French Language and Culture, German Language and Culture, History, History of Art, Architecture and Design, Interpreting and Translation, Italian Language and Culture, and Philosophy, as well as inter-disciplinary courses and research topics covering one or more of these subjects. These awards will be allocated over the next five years.

Doctoral Awards
To be considered for the WPRS and AHRC doctoral awards for study beginning in 2009/10, applicants are invited to complete the online application form available at go.warwick.ac.uk/pgsapply and to provide two references as indicated on the application form. The same application will apply for both awards and must be submitted electronically to the Graduate School by 2nd March 2009.
Taught Postgraduate Awards

Applicants will need to complete the application form available online at http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/services/academicoffice/ourservices/gsp/scholarships/#RCFunding , and provide two references. Applicants will also be required to apply for a place at the University of Warwick.
