The School's postgraduate community is one of the largest and most diverse in the UK, enjoying state-of-the-art facilities and excellent support within a high-quality research environment. In step with our continuing expansion, the School is pleased to announce the following funding opportunity for Home/EU and International students registering for a taught (MA) programme in 2009-10:
MA Fee Bursaries: a number of full time and part time fee bursaries for UK/EU and international MA students.
The School offers MA courses in the following subjects:
* Contemporary China
* European Languages and Cultures
* Latin American Cultural studies
* Linguistics and English Language
* Middle Eastern Studies
* Translation and Interpreting Studies

Please note, suitably qualified and eligible applicants should simultaneously apply for AHRC funding. The result of the Universities bid for a number of AHRC Masters Awards will be known at the end of February and the School anticipates a number of awards will be available.
