Live in volunteer for Hilt (Insegnamento Lingua Italiana)

HILT aims to help adults with a learning disability in Hackney to live in the community as independently as possible.

We are looking for volunteers who can:
- live in shared housing with HILT's service users, including spending at least 5 nights per week sleeping at the shared house
- work up to 35 hours per week covering a variety of shifts
- support service users in different ways, such as with cooking or social and leisure activities (e.g. going to the cinema, playing sport or visit friends)
- commit to at least 3 months but ideally 6-12 months
- work well with people
- speak reasonable conversational English

We offer:
- accomodation and bills included
- weekly allowance to cover costs of food and travel card
- induction, support and regular supervision
- ongoing training
