Italian Spkg Medical Translator

Our client, an International technology supplier organisation, is seeking to appoint an Italian speaking product translation specialist for their medical product.

This role requires an individual who would be responsible for updating and proof reading product documentation and application software translation from English to Italian and visa versa. Excellent communication skills are required, as the position requires speaking and responding to customers and suppliers at all levels in Italian and English.

Identify and manage nominated pilot sites to test the translated media to ensure an accurate and quality product is available

Develop, establish hand maintain Italian language data tables within the country specific database

Work with Applications Mangers to ensure customer training documentation is available and up to date

Work with the Italian Business Unit, Client Services and Product Management in identifying adaptations specific to the needs of localization to suit local market requirements

Requirements:

Ability to translate to Italian from English

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience of working in radiotherapy, chemotherapy or oncology strong advantage.

Experience with medical translations essential.

Experience in language validation of software systems an advantage

Good IT skills are a must (incl. good knowledge of Word and Excel)

Ability to travel 10-20%
