Doctoral grant in philosophy of language

A 4-year Doctoral grant will soon be available in
conjunction with a research project entitled
"Semantic Content and Context Dependence" funded
by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation
(MICINN), see

). The Project invites applications for a 4-year
PhD grant associated with the project.
The=20
prospective grant-holder should be planning to=20
work in the area of philosophy of language=20
(ideally with interests in the area of the=20
project), and would enroll in one of the=20
following two inter-university postgraduate=20
programmes, both of which are co-ordinated from=20
the University of Barcelona:

Cognitive Science and Language (CCiL):=20

Analytic Philosophy (APhil):=20

This grant will soon be advertised by the Spanish
Ministry of Science and Innovation
(<http://www.micinn.es/>http://www.micinn.es/
project no. FFI2009-13436), and applications will
go through the ministry's online process.
However, in order to open the field to a wider=20
range of potential applicants, we invite=20
expressions of interest, so that we can inform=20
candidates in advance about the application=20
process and the conditions of the grant.
