A small number of places are still available for the 2010 entry of the
MA in Mind, Brain and Learning at Oxford Brookes University

Please note that we now have two John Henry brookes scholarships
available for 2010 entry: a £ 3,000 award funded by the Graduate School
and a £ 2,000 award funded by Oxford Brookes International.
The OBI award must go to an International student.

The MA draws upon contemporary work in philosophy ,psychology,
neuroscience, and evolutionary biology to address fundamental questions
concerning human nature, the workings of the mind and brain and the
nature, role and limits of human learning.

Taught topics include Philosophy of Cognitive Science, Evolution and the
Mind, Principles of Brain Functioning, Problems in the Philosophy of
Mind and Action,
and a dissertation module.

The programme can be studied full time over 12 months or part time over
24 months.
