Part-time Tutors for the Neighbourhood Learning Service (Temporary)

JNC Point 21 + 15% planning & preparation allowance
Currently £16.80 per hour

Join a friendly and committed team delivering courses to adults in a range of venues across Cardiff in the daytime and evenings. We need one or more PGCE or QTS and experienced tutors to fill vacancies in the following subjects:

Arts & Crafts (Patchwork and Quilting, outreach courses in all media)
Catering (Cake Decorating, Sugarcraft, Indian and Thai Cooking, Baking, Basic Food Hygiene, outreach courses in Healthy Eating)
Child Psychology
Complementary Therapies
Hair, Nails & Beauty
History (Family History),
ICT (Beginners Computing, Website Design, Digital Photography and Photoshop)
Languages (French, Italian, British Sign Language)
Skills for Work
Welsh for Adults

These posts are subject to Criminal Records Bureau Enhanced checks.

These posts are temporary for a period of up to 12 months.

Internal candidates who wish to apply for this position on a secondment basis must obtain approval prior to application using Form SEC1 (4.C.081). Requests may only be approved by the relevant Chief Officer or senior nominated officer graded no lower than OM2 or in the case of schools based staff the Headteacher / Governing Body.
