A fully funded three-year doctoral studentship commencing in January 2013 (=
providing a =A313590 tax-free stipend p.a. plus payment of full-time tuitio=
n fees at home/EU rate), is available to work with Dr Felicity Callard (Dep=
artment of Geography/Centre for Medical Humanities) and members of the Hear=
ing the Voice project team<http://hearingthevoice.org/our-research-team/>.
Proposals are invited for a doctoral studentship which combines the social =
sciences and medical humanities. The studentship is associated with the thr=
ee-year research project Hearing the Voice<http://hearingthevoice.org/>, su=
pported by a Strategic Award in the Medical Humanities from the Wellcome Tr=

Applicants are invited to submit interdisciplinary proposals addressing voi=
ce-hearing that fall within or across the following domains: cultural and/o=
r health geography; critical and cultural studies; medical humanities; qual=
itative health research; critical neuroscience; literary studies; and philo=
sophy.
