A graduate with a native degree of fluency in Italian, you will be employed as a Language Teaching Assistant within a small team teaching Italian language and culture at all levels. You will be involved in teaching language skills within native speaker classes and/or in translation and interpreting, assessing student progress and, with appropriate supervision from more senior team members, providing feedback to students and setting and marking assignments. You will be highly motivated and organised and be competent in using IT. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Italian are essential.
This appointment will be made for a 9 month fixed term period only, from September 08 to June 09. This is an ideal opportunity for a native speaker who meets the requirements for the post and wishes to spend a 9 month period working within the UK. Some evening work may be a requirement of this position.
