Applications are invited for a three-year doctoral studentship (MPhil/PhD) to cover full tuition fees for a research project in Romantic Period literature. Roehampton staff have a wide range of expertise in the field:

Particular interests include radicalism, religious dissent and infidelism, popular visual culture, orientalism, science, women's writing, race, travel writing, Blake, Shelley, Erasmus Darwin, Cowper, Scott; but proposals are welcomed on any topic within the Romantic period.
