The MA in Childhood Studies is designed for
a) a wide range of professionals working with children
b) students who wish to pursue careers in research or practice with children, and
c) students from abroad who are interested in developing a comparative understanding of childhood.
A broad range of topics are covered and students are encouraged to critically reflect on their practice and address theory and research relevant to their own interests.
Entry Requirements: Applicants are ordinarily expected to have a 2:1 degree from a UK university or an overseas degree equivalent. English proficiency of IELTS = 6.5, or the equivalent is required for overseas students. A non-graduate entry route is available for applicants with substantial and relevant experience.
Bursaries: A limited number of bursaries are available for suitable applicants.
