The Faculty of Arts at The University of Nottingham invites application for PhD Studentships, available to UK/EU students only (due to funding restrictions) first registering to undertake doctoral study in the Schools of American and Canadian Studies (inc. Institute of Film and Television Studies); English Studies; History; Humanities (Archaeology, Art History, Classics, Music, Philosophy, Theology and Religious Studies); and Modern Languages and Cultures (French and Francophone Studies; German Studies; Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies; Russian and Slavonic Studies; Cultural Studies) September 2009.
Each studentship will pay tuition fees and a maintenance grant each year for a maximum of three years of full-time doctoral study (subject to evidence of satisfactory progress).
