Postdoctoral researchers at the GSGG

Thanks to funding granted by the Ministry for Science and Culture (MWK) of Lower Saxony, the GSGG is able to extend considerably the range of its measures to support young academics as from this year and to intensify its activities fostering the next generation of researchers.

GSGG can now integrate outstanding early stage researchers into interdisciplinary and international humanities research contexts, and prepare them for the next step on the academic career. GSGG therefore invites applications for 8 postdoctoral research positions (please find the announcement here).

The postdoctoral positions, which run from 1 August, 2013, will be situated in four interdisciplinary research sections that reflect high profile areas within the Göttingen humanities. The postdocs will work in close collaboration with associated doctoral researchers in the areas concerned.
