Applications are invited for a 18-month postdoctoral position to study online language comprehension in English-Italian and Spanish-Italian bilingual school-age children. You will be based at the University of Manchester and will conduct two periods of fieldwork in Italy (Milan) and Spain (Madrid/Barcelona).

You should have a PhD in Linguistics, Psychology or related field, experience of testing school age children and an interest in language processing and bilingualism. It is also essential that you have native or near native knowledge of Italian and a good command of Spanish.

The start date for the position is 1st May 2009.
