Ecco informazioni trovate su internet, sembra che ci sia una laurea triennale predisposta per l'insegnamento e quindi la strada dovrebbe essere quella di chidere di riconoscere gli esami fatti in italia e fare esami integrativi( e relativo tirocinio)

Foreign language teachers are trained by the Universities of Ljubljana and Maribor. Responsibility for training rests with the Faculty of Education in Maribor and the Faculty of Arts at Ljubljana. Students may choose to study one or two subjects, depending on their grades in the school leaver’s examination.

The University of Ljubljana offers training in English, French, German, Italian, Russian, Serb/Croat/Macedonian and Spanish. Maribor offers English, German and Hungarian.

1.1.2 Are courses at undergraduate or postgraduate level and what qualifications are obtained>

Most courses are at undergraduate level. Students are awarded a degree with the professional title of ‘Professor’. There are also additional postgraduate teacher training courses for students already in possession of a first degree.

Teachers have the status of civil servants in Slovenia.

1.1.3 Entry requirements

Entry to higher education is on the basis of the school leaver’s Maturita certificate.

1.1.4 Is the teacher-training component part of an integrated programme or an add-on component at the end of a normal degree programme>

The teacher-training component is part of an integrated programme, but the teaching practice element is largely added on at the end of study.

1.1.5 How are courses accredited>

Universities have responsibility for validation of academic courses. ITT is accredited in conjunction with the Council for Higher Education of the Republic of Slovenia.

1.1.6 What funding or support is available to students>

The state funds the tuition fees of full-time undergraduate students and the majority of postgraduate fees.

1.1.7 Are students specialist, semi-specialist or non-specialist language teachers>

Students are specialist language teachers who must possess a university language education to teach at both lower (i.e. 3rd stage basic) and upper secondary levels of education.

1.2 Analysis of programme content

1.2.1 Objectives

Training is divided into three parts: subject specific studies, general studies and educational studies.

1.2.2 Content of foreign language teacher training courses

All training is carried out through the medium of the target language.

For students intending to teach at lower secondary level, the following components are included:

• Literature and literary theory;
• Computer text analysis;
• Translation;
• Grammar;
• Sociolinguistics;
• Pragmatics;
• Intercultural education;
• Phonetics;
• Psycholinguistics;
• Multimedia;
• Educational research;
• Language teaching didactics.

At upper secondary level, the elements are as follows:

• Literature and literary theory;
• Linguistics (applied, psycho- and sociolinguistics);
• Translation;
• Grammar;
• History of language;
• Language teaching methodology;
• Study of principles of language teaching and transference of those principles to practical contexts;
• Cultural studies and intercultural aspects.

Students can also opt for courses in bilingualism, research skills, comprehension etc. Elements of reflective practice are also included.

It is not clear what opportunities exist for learning a new language.

1.2.3 Practical experience of teaching

Students make a series of visits to schools to observe teaching methods during their studies. At the University of Maribor, 3rd year students have a two-week practice at lower secondary level, while 4th year students have a two-week practice at upper secondary level. These practices consist of lesson observations and teaching, some of which is assessed by a mentor.

Most of the practical experience takes place after completion of academic studies. At the end of four years study, students are awarded the status of ‘Absolvent’ for one year. During this year, they undertake a ten-month probationary teaching practice and prepare and defend their thesis.
